Amazing!!!!! Stainless steel refret, custom bone nut, and a proper setup. The guitar turned out incredible. Fast and professional. I totally recommend him.

I’ve been working with Jose for years and I have nothing but good things to say about him. Even more so now, after receiving my first Ramos Custom Guitar. It was completely custom-made: body design, neck, headstock… everything built to my specifications. I own Tom Andersons, Suhrs and PRSs, and in terms of material quality and attention to detail, this guitar is right up there with the best of them. After seeing the result, this definitely won’t be my last Ramos Custom Guitar.

Repair of a Fender Precision Bass pickup: the process was incredibly quick, with all the details explained along with recommendations for installation. 100% recommended!!

Jose set up my GS Mini, which had issues with humidity and string action. He also gave me maintenance advice to help prevent future problems. I’m very happy with the result and with how the guitar feels after the setup. I highly recommend Jose as an official Taylor technician. Thank you!

Hi, I brought Ramos the bridge pickup from my 1976 Fender Stratocaster because the coil had stopped working, and Ramos brought all its magic back. I’m incredibly happy and grateful for his work. If there were 1,000 stars, I’d give him every single one.

I’ve been playing guitar for 40 years and I’ve been to many luthiers. A good friend told me, “Take it to Ramos.” The guitar came back perfect, and since that day, Ramos has been my luthier. He listens to me, understands me and advises me, always respecting my preferences. And that is priceless.

The process

1. Initial Assessment

First, I listen to you. What you’re noticing, when the problem occurs, and what is really bothering you when you play.

2. Intervention

Often, the issue you notice actually comes from somewhere else, so the first step is to understand exactly what is happening before touching anything.

3. Calibration

This is where the real work is done. Action, neck, nut, frets… whatever is needed, but always with the right judgement.

4. Finalisation

The guitar has to respond properly. Stable tuning, comfortable feel and full control from the very first moment.
